Susie Valencia has dedicated her career to guiding students and families through the college admissions journey. With over eight years of experience as a College Admissions Advisor and a lifelong commitment to education and student success, she is passionate about helping students identify and achieve their college aspirations.

Susie holds a B.A. in Psychology and Ocean Studies from the University of San Diego and an M.S. in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University. She is a Certified Educational Planner and an active Professional Member of the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the Higher Education Consultants Association (HECA), where she currently serves as the Community Coordinator. Throughout her career, she has helped hundreds of students navigate the admissions process, crafting compelling applications that highlight their strengths, aspirations, and unique stories.

As a mother of three—a college senior completing her Musical Theatre degree at Goldsmiths, University of London, a college sophomore studying Business and Health & Exercise Science at Colorado State University, and a high school sophomore embarking on their own college search—Susie understands firsthand the excitement and challenges of the admissions journey. She believes in building meaningful connections with students, guiding them through self-discovery, and helping them find schools where they will thrive both academically and personally.

Her holistic, student-centered approach ensures that each student develops an application that is both authentic and compelling, resulting in strong admissions outcomes. More importantly, she encourages students to reflect on why they want to attend college and how their education will shape their future.

Beyond her work, Susie enjoys traveling, hot yoga, and paddle surfing. She also volunteers at an animal sanctuary in Bonsall, CA, where she helps care for a variety of exotic animals. She encourages all of her students to pursue their passions, stay engaged in their communities, and embrace experiences that bring them joy and fulfillment.
